2. Lagos Coronavirus Patient Attempts To Escape, See Why

The coronavirus patient quarantined at the Infectious Disease Hospital in Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, attempted to escape from the facility on Friday, February 28. Odogwublog recalls that the Lagos coronavirus patient, an Italian, was confirmed to have the virus on Friday morning, three days after he arrived in the country. He flew in from Milan, Italy, into Lagos before heading to Ogun state where he first showed symptoms of the disease.

The appointment was announced on Friday in a statement by the Permanent Secretary (General Services Office) in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF) Olusegun Adekunle.

5. Buhari Govt Fixes Date To Open Berger/Kara Bridge

Hong Kong’s agriculture, fisheries and conservation department has confirmed that a dog had tested positive to the deadly coronavirus disease. In a statement on Friday, a spokesperson of the department stated that Dogs, cats and other pets owned by confirmed coronavirus patients must now undergo a 14-day quarantine.
