Obiano’s magic: Ndiokpaleke gets brand new secondary school

The proposed community Secondary school Ndiokpaleke under construction by His Excellency Governor Willie Obiano will be ready this September, investigation by www.odogwublog.com has revealed.

Recall that Gov.Obiano visited Ndiokpaleke community in Orumba North LGA on the 28th September 2016 to flag off the construction of community primary health centre under the “Community chose your project initiative”first face.

During the visit to Ndiokpaleke ,the then President General of Ndiokpaleke and now Special Assistant to Governor Obiano on Chieftaincy and town union matters, Hon Ernest Elochukwu Igboanugo requested for the construction of Secondary School in his Community as well as an access road to the community.

Igboanugo had revealed to the Governor in his welcome that his people trek about 7.5km to Ajalli or Ogboji to acquire Secondary school education.

Also in his address, he made Obiano to understand that pregnant women died on their way before delivery due to lack of access road and health facilities, hence the need for a health facility and a school.

Obiano on his speech,regretted the kind of suffering the people of Ndiokpaleke and environs particularly Ndiokolo were passing through and granted the two requests made by the President General.

He ordered the then commissioner for works, Chief Lawrence Chinwuba to swing into action on the road ,adding that the construction of a secondary School in the community will start immediately.

Obiano had on July 4th 2017 awarded the construction of Ndiokpaleke-Ndiokolo-Ogboji road to Solberg construction company at the contract sum of N1,392, 198,679.50.

The community health center has been completed, as well as the bridges too.

Igboanugo appreciated Governor Willie Obiano for his timely and prompt response to issues concerning Communities in Anambra state particularly his management of COVID-19 pandemic.
