OAU LION BITES FINGER THAT FED IT

The university of Obafemi Awolowo mourns as zookeeper was killed by the same lion he nursed and fed for nine years since it’s birth.
The victim Mr Olabode Olawuyi,a veterinary technologist,has been in charge of the university’s zoo for over ten years and it was said that he took care of the animals and also fed them.
He went on to do his job as expected in the early hours of yesterday when one of the male lions pounced on him and ended his life leaving his corpse as evidence to prove it was a counter attack.
It was not stated if there was anyone around at that moment to save him or take him to the hospital but his body was found lifeless by colleagues who raised alarm before more people came to the scene and the idea of killing the lion came in.
Guns and weapons were brought and the lion was killed instantly.Nigerians are still in shock and disbelief.
However, some Netizens are not in support of the killing of the lion stating that it is against the code of tourist attractions.
