Nonso Shalom Obi is an enigma

When Nonso saw the obituary post I made about the untimely demise of one of our own Late Promise Enyite, pronto, he didn’t hesitate to call me and enquired the authenticity of the heartbroken news,I told him how I got the information and that was how we started this platform (Federal Polytechnic, Oko class 2002 WhatsApp group) and the rest today is history.
He initiated the idea of creating a platform and introducing a layout where we can come together and be there for each other.
He nurtured this platform by putting in his resources,energy and time hence the unanimous decision for him to stir the ship of this platform as our General Coordinator, GC.
Moving forward,Shalom as he is fondly called by his admirers, friends and relatives has been a quintessential personality, back in the days in the Citadel of learning, Federal Polytechnic Oko,as a matter of fact, himself, Marshall and my humble self Akpaa aka egbe ekwue na Agulu single handedly ran the affairs of a non Governmental Organization Amnesty International when it was introduced in the school then and we didn’t do badly.
Unlike other WhatsApp platforms where bitterness,rancor and all sorts of negativities held sway, ours blazes the trail in this twenty first century Communication methodology and Nonso has been a unifying factor on this platform because his temerity, sagacity and tenacity is second to none and I give it to him.
He has shown capacity on crisis management on a number of disagreements on this platform and the love and progress that has been recorded here has been tremendous and still counting.
A Telecom Giant ,even though that their Network (Olisalad) have not tried for their teeming subscribers but Shallom our Indefatigable and Indomitable GC is relentless in his efforts in ensuring better services to their subscribers.
Putting Shalom’s dexterity and leadership skills as our GC and Zonal controller of his company side by side,one can unarguably believe that Shallom is simply a Sage.
However,the story of the nomenclature Aki na Pawpaw should be for another day as going into that on this thread may occupy space and may raise many questions that demand immediate answers but ka anagagodi.
Shallom is an Nnewi man and we all knew what Nnewi people are known for but he is exceptional because,he is always ready to share whatever that comes his way with his friends and that stood him out amongst his contemporaries.
On this occasion of Shallom’s birthday though belated,I join millions of his friends and well wishers all over the world to celebrate him and assures him of our unflinching support as he takes this platform to the next level where we shall compete with committee of WhatsApp platforms.
