Nollywood actor, Brown Igboegwu and wife welcome a child after 10 years
Nollywood actor, Brown Igboegwu has welcomed a baby girl with his wife, Igboegwu Becky Udoka, after 10 years of marriage.
The actor took to his Instagram account on Wednesday morning to express the joy he felt, also recounting how he was subjected to ridicule while waiting to have a child of his own.
Igboegwu said he was mocked and was even advised to take another wife or get another woman pregnant, but he turned deaf ears to the advice and waited on God.
He said: “Get another wife, time no dey, age is no longer on her side, find a girl and give am belle at least, cos time waits for no one.
According to him, they also mocked his wife, saying “all these Asaba girls who know what they have done that they can’t conceive.”
“They even mocked me saying “is it by buying new car” let him give birth first.
“ The ones with pure intentions expressed their love for us while encouraging us to keep going strong that God will bless us with a child.
