Controversial Nigerian relationship expert Blessing CEO has resurfaced on social media after weeks of silence, deleting all posts related to her cancer claims and issuing an apology to Nigerians amid ongoing backlash.

Blessing, whose real name is Blessing Okoro, had earlier deactivated her Instagram account following widespread criticism over allegations that she falsely claimed to have stage-four breast cancer to solicit financial support. Her return comes after intense public scrutiny and petitions accusing her of misleading donors.

Upon reactivating her account, she removed all cancer-related posts and videos, a move widely seen as an attempt to reset her public image after the controversy.

In a video shared on her page, Blessing apologized for what she described as the “drama and controversy” surrounding her health claims. However, she maintained that she did not lie about being ill and promised to be more transparent moving forward by sharing medical updates, including scans and biopsy results.

She also pledged to refund donations received from well-meaning Nigerians who supported her treatment, noting that she appreciated their concern and generosity. Reports indicate that she has already begun issuing refunds to some individuals, including critics who demanded accountability.

The controversy initially erupted after doubts were raised about the authenticity of her medical reports, with a cancer survivor alleging that the document Blessing shared belonged to her. The situation escalated into public outrage, petitions, and calls for investigation by authorities.
