Usman Alkali Baba, the Inspector General of Police, IGP, has asserted that the Nigeria Police Force, NPF, has done well in guarding the gubernatorial and state House of Assembly elections conducted on Saturday.

Baba also said that the NPF would investigate some of the violations identified during the polls.

This was disclosed in a statement by CSP Muyiwa Adejobi, the Force’s Public Relations Officer.

Adejobi said the IGP stated this when he patrolled and monitored the governorship elections in Kafanchan, Kaduna, and Jos, Plateau State.

The statement reads: “The patrol by road commenced Saturday, 18th March 2023, as the convoy moved through Abuja, Bwari, Jere, Kwoi, Kafanchan, Jos, and Kaduna.
