Nasarawa PDP crisis :Major party stakeholders behind Orogu chairmanship bid.

The crisis that bedeviled the people democratic party (PDP) Nasarawa state chapter penultimate months may have come and gone ,now that the party congress is slated for Saturday,7/11/2020.
As it stands today, some major stakeholders of the party across local government areas of the state,have thrown their support to the Francis Orogu led state and local government exco.
This became evidently clear on Monday ,when the embattled state chairman of the party, Honourable Francis Orogu,led a rally to the western senatorial zone,which comprised of Karu,Kokona,Keffi, Toto and Nasarawa LGAs,as delegates and members of the party overwhelmingly endorsed Francis Orogu and all the party structures for reelection.
It would be recalled that a group in the party had petition a high court to restrained Francis Orogu and his exco from parading it self as party official in the state and that they be given a chance to participate in the earlier congress last March.
The court in her ruling, however ordered that the Orogu led exco ceased from office.
It was at this point that the Orogu’s camp approached an appeal court and secured judgement that nullified the earlier order by the high court,stating that the matter was an internal rangliing of the party which only the party has the right to resolved.
Following the appeal court judgement,the Orogu led exco have swung into action ahead of the local government congress,as mandated by the National headquarters of the party.
The situation which has attracted some notable stakeholders of the party to joined the Francis Orogu reelection bid,was attended by the local government exco and delegates,PDP elders forum led by Usman Bagudu,women and youth wing.
Also in attendance were, Senator Suleiman Adokwe, former deputy’s governor’s, Chief Micheal Abdul and Hon,Luka Damishi,a former house of representative member and the PDP 2019 governorship candidate,Honourable David Ombugadu,some former house of assembly members, to mentioned but a few.
Alhaji Sule’ Pads, a renown politician in Keffi, said they were unwavering and had remained resolute in support of Francis Orogu and all his exco from the local government to the state level.
He maintained that the PDP is a united and discipline party to tolerate those who are bend on selling it to the ruling opposition party in the state.
On his part,Francis Orogu, stated that he was not parthub ,knowing that the earlier court judgement was only but a kangaroo arrangement aim at tarnishing the good image of the PDP I the state.
“So as I speak to you now, I am very much satisfied with the large crowd of PDP supporters,which we started witness across the 5 local government areas of the western senatorial zone so far visited.
” I am optimistic and sure that come Saturday we will emerged winners in the congress,you can see for yourself the caliber of stakeholders,true party men and respectable Nasarawa stakeholders,who are with us,goes to tell you that any other camp apart from this is only working to see to the downfall of the PDP in the state,which as God will have it,the appeal court has granted us judgment in the true perspective of how democracy should be run and we are thankful to the court and our teeming supporters” Orogu said.
