Donald Trump’s Post Shows He Is Very Confident Of Winning The Election.

President Donald Trump seems so confident of a second term in office as his recent post on his Twitter handle confirms so. The race for the presidency is usually decided in a small number of key battleground states that switch party allegiance between elections. They include, Florida, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan.
Trump has posted saying that “WE ARE LOOKING REALLY GOOD ALL OVER THE COUNTRY. THANK YOU.”
The first polls have closed in parts of Indiana and Kentucky as Americans brace for the results of the 2020 election, with the White House and control of Congress hanging in the balance.
President Trump is hoping a surge of Election-Day voters is enough to overcome a large lead by Joe Biden among early voters. More than 100 million people cast ballots before Election Day, and Democrats held an advantage in most of the key battleground states among those who did so.
Whether their lead is sustainable remains the key question as large swaths of the country.
Remember that the winner of the election is usually determined through a system called the electoral college. Each of the 50 states, plus Washington DC, is given a number of electoral college votes, adding up to a total of 538 votes. More populous states get more electoral college votes than smaller ones.
A candidate would need needs to win 270 electoral college votes (50% plus one) to win the election.
