Metuh disengages self from Ozigbo campaign council

Chief Olisa Metuh (Akajiugo), has dissociates himself from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Anambra State Gubernatorial Campaign Organisation which he termed “undemocratic act” by PDP and its candidate, Chief Valentine Ozigbo, in the forthcoming Anambra State governorship election.

Chief Metuh, while withdrawing himself from the campaign council, said that he was not consulted in the composition of PDP campaign council list.

The party named top shots like former Governor Peter Obi, Senator Uche Ekwunife, who was named the Chairperson of the Campaign Council, Senator Stella Oduah, a former aviation minister who represents Anambra North at the Nigerian Senate, and serving federal lawmaker, Engr Chris. Azubogu, Dr Ifedi Okwenna, and several other stalwarts of the party.

In a disclaimer issued on his behalf by the Azubogu Media Office citing reasons for withdrawing himself, Azubogu said that he “was not consulted before the said composition of Campaign Council.”

Reacting to Chief Metuh’s and Azubogu’s positions, Engr. Ikenna Ubah said:
