Vice-President, Mothers’ Union, Women’s Guild, Girls Guild and Young Wives, Diocese of Awka, Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, Nneora Barr.Chioma Egwuonwu has encouraged Christian women to stop discriminating over who to show love and who not, since love is universal and must be seen to be so always.
Addressing Christian Women during the Love Feast of Women of the Church of The Holy Spirit Awka, Nneora Barr. Egwuonwu insisted that God’s intentions of agape love wasn’t discriminatory hence His followers shouldn’t show partiality on who to show love and who not to.
She advised Christian Women to use love to conquer all situations at home front, organizations and office, rather than resort to complaints, nagging or confrontations, as most times such worsens the situations.
The wife of the Vicar, Church of The Holy Spirit, Awka and Archdeacon, CHS Awka Archdeaconry thanked the women for their love and support since her arrival to the CHS Awka as Vicar’s wife and Vice-President, urging them to continue.
She encouraged them to care for their families without relenting, but, not ignoring their neigboures particularly those who have nothing to give them in return of their kindness for the sake of Jesus Christ they profess.
Nneora Barr. Egwuonwu as well encouraged women particularly Christian women to see every child as their own and always put a helping hand to any child in distress.
Earlier, the Vicar, Church of The Holy Spirit, Awka, Ven.Dr Onyeka Egwuonwu emphasized nagging as a destroyer of families, homes, and marriages, mostly Christian homes, families and marriages, warning women against nagging.
Ven.Dr. Egwuonwu who is also the Archdeacon, CHS Awka Archdeaconry warned further that the future of children raised from nagging homes, families and marriages are endangered and a great risk for a better societal relationship, sequel to poor nurture and psychology.
He advocated that Christians should strive to put smiles on other people’s face, even when it’s not in their character to smile by exhibiting meekness of heart always.
The Archdeacon, CHS Awka Archdeaconry referenced the magic of constant praises to God Almighty by the church of God that makes Him release His blessings abundantly to men, hence, there is need for humans to praise one another as means to ensure they are better beings and behave better for societal peace and harmony.
He encouraged Christians to learn to use simple courtesies like “I am sorry, Please , Forgive me, Thank you” ,etc in human relationships, noting that such words are for peace and love to be enthroned in every relationships, while antagonistic words fuel crisis and acrimony.
He concluded by asking women not to rub on the faces of their husbands their support for the family to stand as it’s an avenue to allow Satan access to disorganize the love of the family.
