LASTMA Rescues LAWMA Worker Hit by Truck in Lagos
A LAWMA worker, Baba Ibeji, was struck by a speeding truck along Offin Canal, Lagos, after brake failure caused the driver to lose control. LASTMA operatives rescued him from the wreckage and took him to General Hospital for urgent treatment. The truck driver fled, but the assistant was arrested and handed to police for investigation.
