The items which include Onions, tubbers of yam, Beans, cartons of Noddles, and face masks were donated by the President General Of Isuofia, Mr Jude Okeke.

Mr Jude Said the gesture which was meant for the less privileged and vulnerable ones was to cushion the impact of the Novel Coronavirus on the people.

He said that the items were fully handed over to a Non Governmental Organisation, Zaram Life Foundation , to ensure the raw foods were evenly distributed to the right people who are in dire need for it.

She regretted the level of vulnerable persons in the area and called on other wealthy individuals to remember such persons especially during this Covid 19 Pandemic.

“We made sure we visited the entire villages in Isuofia within the two days we spent there. The distribution was really an eye opener to Zaram Life Foundation as we met so many vulnerable persons who do not have what to eat especially during this pandemic period. I encourage the wealthy ones to always make sure whatever they have for the poor gets to them through a proper channel.”
