Insecurity: Mayetti Allah Khalto Hore, Cattle Breeders unite, vow to end Criminality

Security and other criminal activities may soon be over in Nasarawa state,as both Mayetti Allah Khalto Hore and it’s sister association Mayetti Allah Cattle Breeders of Nigeria (MACBAN) unite.

The aforementioned Fulani Associations stated this on Sunday at a meeting at the instance of the PDP BOT Chairman,Senator Walid Jibrin,who is also the sarkin Fulani Nasarawa state.

The group in a unanimous voice said the move was to ensure that the challenges that have bedeviled the country and especially ,in Nasarawa state would soon be over.

The Two leaders in their different assertions said they will team up with the security to fish out criminals among them,even as they held that the PDP Board of Trustees Chairman remains their leader in the state.

The National President of the Mayetti Khalto Hore,Alhaji Bello Abdullahi Bodejo and the state Chairman ,MACBAN ,Alhaji Hussain Mohammed said they will percify the entire Fulani in Nasarawa state to work in harmony towards achieving a common goal ,which has to do with curbing of crime and criminality in the state.

In an interview, Senator Walids Jibrin ,said the first point on their agenda as discussed was the unity of the Fulani and how to contribute towards stabilizing the problem of insecurity facing the country,but beginning with Nasarawa state.

He also added that emphasis was laid strongly on the unity of Fulani in order to coexist with other tribes in the state.

The National President, Mayetti Allah Khalto Hore ,Alhaji Bello Bodejo on his part said with the coming together of the two groups ,they will ensure that their members work in collaboration with the police and other security agencies by giving them the needed support that can even fish out criminal elements among the Fulani as alleged.

On his part,the Nasarawa state chairman of the Mayetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria ,Alhaji Mohammed Hussain, maintained that the current proposal by the Federal Government,to establish the National Livestock Transformation programme starting with Nasarawa state as among the others earmarked for the pilot project is a welcome development.

” This is even to our advantage and it will go a long way to help our children who had no opportunity to go to school to do so” He said.

He added that the project will also curtail the conflict between farmers and cattle rearers,saying it is because of movement of the Fulani that often result to crisis.
