Ekweozor Declares To Contest For Awka North And South Federal Constituency Election In 2027 Under APGA

Dr. Azubuike Ekweozor has officially declared his intention to contest the Awka North and South Federal Constituency election in 2027 under the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

Declaring his intention in Awka before members of APGA drawn from all the wards in the federal constituency, Dr. Ekweozor noted that Awka North and South Federal Constituency is blessed with intelligent, hardworking, and enterprising people but needs a credible candidate like him who will provide leadership that connects, consults, and delivers, as well as unify the strength of the federal constituency, empower its youths, support women in the area, and unlock opportunities for sustainable growth.

He maintained that he came prepared with a proven record in enterprise, community service, and grassroots engagement to offer accessible, people-oriented, and result-driven representation that will give his constituents a stronger voice at the national level.

In his remarks, the leader of Awka North and South Progressive Movement in England, Prince Paul Ogudo, disclosed that they are solidly behind the aspiration of Dr. Ekweozor because he has what it takes to duly represent Awka North and South Federal Constituency, having served in many offices and understanding human development, even as he urged the national leadership of APGA to consider the candidacy of Dr. Ekweozor for the forthcoming Awka North and South Federal Constituency election.

On his part, the President of Building Materials International Market, Ogidi, Chief Jude Nwankwo, described the aspirant as a man filled with the milk of human kindness who has touched many lives positively, saying that making him the APGA candidate for the forthcoming Awka North and South Federal Constituency election will address the yearnings and aspirations of the people, as he has the capacity to effect the desired change in the constituency.

Later, all members of the federal constituency who graced the occasion unanimously agreed through a voice vote that the national leadership of APGA should make Dr. Ekweozor the candidate of the party for the 2027 Awka North and South Federal Constituency election.
