Easter: EEDC assures customers of full technical support

Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) has assured its customers of full technical support during and after the Easter festivities.
The company, in a statement issued by its Head of Corporate Communication, Mr Emeka Ezeh, also felicitated its customers on the occasion of this year’s Easter, which symbolises the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Ezeh said that the company had positioned its technical support teams to provide necessary support during the holiday period and beyond.
He appealed to customers to remain safe and desist from any unsafe act that might result in electrical accident or fatality.
According to him, customers should leverage some of the smart electricity service technology introduced to ease their experience, such as the “EEDC Connect APP” which can be downloaded from Google Play Store.
“Our cash offices will be open for business on Good Friday and on Saturday, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. respectively,” he said.
Ezeh also urged customers to take advantage of the alternative, convenient, easy and safe electronic payment channels to pay their energy bills or recharge their meters during the period, from the comfort of their homes.
“For those who might want to contact us during the period, they can reach us through our Call Centre: 084 700 100; SMS/WhatsApp: 0815 082 6060 or 0815 082 6061; Email: [email protected] or through our social media platforms (Twitter and Facebook: @enugudisco; Instagram: @enugu_disco).
“For accident and emergency issues, customers are advised to call: 0815 082 4301,” he said.
Ezeh assured customers of the organisation’s unrelenting commitment to consistently delivering improved services. (NAN)
