Anambra State Govt To Unveil Electricity Market, Establish Regulatory Commission
Anambra State Commissioner for Power and Water Resources, Engineer Julius Chukwuemeka says the State Government will soon unveil electricity market to solve the energy needs of Ndi Anambra.
Speaking to our team in his office Engineer Chukwuemeka who described Governor Chukwuma Soludo as a jinx breaker said that the market will guarantee energy sustainability, adding that the electricity market where everything electricity will be handled will give the State the opportunity to be fully in charge of its power generation, transmission and distribution.
According to Engineer Chukwuemeka, the State will also establish the Anambra State Electricity Regulatory Commission, which will be in charge of energy regulation as well as Anambra State Electricity Management Agency that will be saddled with the responsibility of managing the state’s electricity market.
