Covid-19: See how APGA is helping Ndị Anambra

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) , Anambra State,  has
distributed  relief materials to help in cushioning the effect of
COVID-19.

The Materials which include bags of rice, beans, noddles , and  hand
sanitizer of different types and litres will be shared to Anambra residents  in the three hundred and twenty six wards in the state.

Members of the disabled community were also counted as a ward by the
party  bringing  the distribution  to three hundred and twenty seven
rations.

Addressing newsmen at the APGA State Secretariat in Awka, the State
Chairman of APGA, Sir Norbert Obi said this is in keeping with the party’s motto of being your brothers’ and sisters’ keeper, the party resolved  to identify with  the state government, its determination to protect   Ndi Anambra  from  the rampaging effect of the deadly Corona-virus.

Sir Norbert disclosed that the Party commenced the distribution of the
stimulus packages to cushion the effect of sit-at home directive in
all families of APGA faithful in the state.

He stated that the National Party Chairman Of APGA, Chief  Victor Oye
 on seeing the hardship faced by people, set up an eleven man
committee to provide protective medical materials and food items to
APGA members and other Ndi Anambra across Party divide in the state.

The Party Chairman commended all the well-meaning individuals and
organisations that have also responded to the  call for assistance by the State government at this time of great need.

Sir Norbert further charged the local government Party Chairmen, Ward
Chairmen, and other  Executive members  and all party members to
diligently perform this task of sharing the items equitably to achieve
the  set goals. .

The State Secretary of the Party, Barrister Tony Ifeanya noted that
the items provided by the party for distribution to APGA faithful and
Ndi Anambra will get to each ward with thirty-four bags of rice, six
cartons of noddles, bags of beans and sanitizers.


Barrister Ifeanya advised Ndi Anambra to keep on observing regular
hand washing, keeping clean and healthy environment as well as social
distancing.
