COVID-19: Anambra State Govt Orders Free Passage Of Petrol Tankers

The Anambra State Government has given directive that all fully loaded Petroleum tankers be allowed passage into and out of Anambra State.

Recall, that the State Government has restricted vehicular movement through the state as a means of preventing COVID19 spread in Anambra State.

However, Petroleum products have been classified as essential commodity as both the security agencies and government officials rely on it to carry out effective implementation of the COVID19 measures.

Therefore, the Anambra State Government has given a directive that Petroleum tanker drivers be allowed access to and from Anambra State.

Hon. Comr. Peter Nwosu, The SSA to the Governor on Nupeng Petroleum and Union Matters is on ground to ensure that Petroleum tanker drivers are allowed access into and through Anambra State.

All Petroleum Stations in Anambra State are by this means informed not to panic as their Petroleum tankers will be allowed to discharge its content at their various destination.

Ndi Anambra are informed that there won’t be shortage of Petroleum products in Anambra State as the State Government through the office of the SSA to the Governor on Nupeng Petroleum and Union Matters is working round the clock to protect the interest and welfare of Ndi Anambra.
