Politics is optimally local – reason the grassroots form the substructure that holds whatever else there could be in a political structure; reason Chief Primus Odili, Okosisi Aguleri, is not any peripheral run-off-the mill politician who is content with merely putting up appearances. Not Mgbologwu Okosisi Aguleri!
While enjoying fluid-like access to prime circles (secular and religious) across the country and beyond, Chief Odili keeps deepening and widening his reach at the primary source of his composite essence – his background, the expansive geopolitical localities that primed him for beneficial engagement with the greater world far afield.
Chief Odili’s naturalness in selflessly nurturing relationships across recognisable shades and strata of persons makes him mingle freely with the rich, the very rich, the poor and the poorest of the poor; with persons whose socio-political leanings differ from his, people with different beliefs; all of whom he stretches his elastic energies in devoted efforts to add values to their affairs. Little wonder the vivacious Chief is always the go-to guy in most circles he keeps – and they abound!
In choosing politics as a medium for serving his people and humanity, Chief Odili did not find it hard identifying the political platform that would guarantee him unhindered functional interactions with his grassroots and with all the relevant interest groups in his chosen political space. The All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, readily provided him the launch pad upon which his unmitigated devotion in service could soar. So he unreservedly embraced APGA and all it represents.
Today, Chief Primus Odili has dug in unrestrainedly in support of APGA and its purposeful leadership personified in Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, the cerebral and performing governor of Anambra State, who, in league with the indefatigable National Chairman of the party, Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, is providing inspiring leadership to party.
Evolving times keep unfolding the limitless possibilities of Okosisi’s deployments in support of the party, its leadership and the people. May God continue to be kind to Chief Odili by providing him the requisite enablement to sustain his thoughtful acts in politics.
