Breaking: FCET Umunze Raises Alarm Over Job Scam In The College

It has come to the knowledge of the College Management the criminal activities of some staff and their collaborators who go about defrauding job applicants with the promise of offering them employment in the College.

These fraudsters collect huge sums of money under the guise that such proceeds of fraud would be remitted to the Provost.

The Management wishes to state categorically that there is no ongoing recruitment exercise in the College. As a federal government owned institution, recruitment in the College must follow the due process, and never influenced by monetary inducement or gratification. Employment is never given to the highest bidder as erroneously portrayed by these cheats and their faceless allies.

Meanwhile, one of the staff of the College exposed in the job scam has been arrested and presently in police net.

Anyone who has been defrauded by any staff of the College under the pretence that such money would be given to Principal Officers to procure employment opportunity is advised to report the impostor to the College Management for proper investigation and action.

The Management wishes to warn the general public of the criminal activities of these job scammers. Such individuals do not act on behalf of the Provost, her family members, or the College Management. Anyone doing business with these fraudsters does so at his/her own risk.
