Bauchi Govt Budgets N1bn for Office Infrastructure
The Bauchi State Government has allocated N400 million in its 2025 budget for the procurement of six computers for the Office of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG). Additionally, N1 billion has been set aside for purchasing land to construct offices and buildings, while N170 million has been allocated for acquiring a generator to power the SSG’s office. The announcement comes shortly after Governor Bala AbdulKadir Mohammed criticized President Bola Tinubu’s social and economic policies. On Wednesday, Governor Mohammed made headlines by urging an Islamic cleric, who had backed Tinubu’s election, to advise the President on addressing the struggles faced by ordinary Nigerians. He emphasized the need for government programs that alleviate hardship and promote more responsible spending.
