Awka stood still for Amaecom, as staff wins Duplex

Deputy Governor of Anambra state , Dr Nkem Okeke and the Anambra state Head of Service , Barr Harry Udu were among the guests who joined the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of amaecom Global limited, Dr  Marcel Ofomata at the Amaecom gala night and award ceremony at the Hollywood Garden and Event center , Awka on Friday.

The event witnessed hand over of the key to a four bedroom Duplex to Nsikak Uko , Head of Procurement and Maintenance for being the longest serving staff of amaecom company having served for 11 years.

Other awards were given to others who have served the organization between 7 years and 11 years, a car to Mr and Mrs amaecom global limited as well as other awards and prizes. Sir Mac Benito received award too.

Deputy Governor , Dr Okeke handed over an award as Entrepreneur par Excellence from 162 member staff in Akwa Ibom state on the MD/CEO amaecom Global Limited , Dr Marcel Ofomata, while awards for successful partnership were bestowed on  Heads of Civil Services of states , the Nigerian Police Force , Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Foauni Nigeria Limited producers of LG Products and Champion Breweries Plc, Uyo.

MD/CEO , Dr Ofomata said though the operating environment was tough , his vision for the company to be a leading global grassroots one stop asset financing company in Africa kept them going.

He said new three start-ups have been added to their business aside it’s business school Mitchell and Michelle Business school, Density foam and Buy and pay later arms, insisting that their mission remains to enhance quality of lives through the provision of unbeatable, stress free asset acquisition solutions.

Chairman on the occasion , Odene Usoro described the event as a way to give back to the society and an opportunity to interact with all the stakeholders in the line of business. He commended the MD/CEO for employing so many Nigerians adding that if others do like him, unemployment rate would reduce.

Amaecom Global limited has over 30 offices in Nigeria and over 330 workers across the nation and has been in business for 14 years.
