APC Inaugurates Anambra Campaign Council

The Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Nicholas Ukachukwu has Inaugurated his state campaign council towards November 8 governorship election

Speaking during the inauguration,
Ukachukwu said that God does not come by himself to favour people but through other people .

He however promised to build an agricultural value chain that will create jobs, drive industrial growth, and reposition the state as an economic hub in the South East.

“I am a billionaire. I cannot owe billions as they alledged in the social media. Look at Anambra today; ranked 33rd in the economic index. Is that the great Anambra we all dream of? He asked.

. “The wind of glory is about to envelop Anambra. I charge every member of this campaign council to go out, carry this message to every community.”

We are going to provide an enabling environment for all of us because what attracts manufacturing are cheap energy and cheap labour. When these things are put in place, then our people will have jobs.

I will make Industries my priority. I will secure Anambra. Once there is security, investors wil come in.

“We will make sure that there are water in the three major cities in Anambra.

“You can not say that a governorship candidate is owning a billion naira. I worth billions and I can not owe billion. Don’t mind their propaganda” he clarifies.

The deputy governorship candidate, Senator Uche Ekwunife, in her speech said “What we are bringing to the table is empowerment. What we are bringing is linkage to the center where Ndi Anambra will benefit more.

“We have gathered as a wining party , we have gathered because we have a good candidate. She said.

The South East cordinator of the party and also the Director General, Ikukuoma/ Uche Ekwunife campaign organisation, Dozie Ikedife during the inauguration charged members to give the campaign their best as victory is assured.

“We believe you can do the job.The job we are going into, we are going in for victory and for that to achieve you have to double your effort .
It is a big responsibility been bestowed on you today.

“As I said before, this is not the only campaign council, others will be inaugurated in various levels such as Senatorial, local government, ward and polling unit levels.

Our incoming governor has made serious effort to select you and I assure you that our party in national is with you, the stakeholders from the zone are all with us. We need victory. We are pleased today to see the number of leaders that has volunteered their time and resources to support us.

The State Chairman of APC, Chief Basil Ejidike, reminded the campaign council that the time for change is now. “Ndi Anambra are ready for change.

Some dignitaries who attended the inauguration include: Hon. Patrick Udoba, Everest Obiano, Mike Ejezie, Afam Obi, Johbosco Onunkwo, Patrick Okafor among others
