As a passionate teacher and head teacher, she treated pupils as her own children and treated her staff as her best friends. She would often give new uniforms to pupils whose own were torn and would rally to raise money for pupils who could not afford their examination fees. She was the first headmistress to look for ways to help parents and students who were in need of financial help; this made her to involve the Old Boys Association of Dennis Memorial Grammar School, who contributed immensely to this dream of helping some children in their educational advancement.

There was a service of songs in her honor at her Egerton residence in Onitsha on Sunday, 24th April, 2022. A valedictory service was also held for her at her last place of assignment, All Saints Primary School, Onitsha on 26th April, 2022.
