Priest Assistant, Church of The Holy Spirit Awka, Reverend Dr. Nnaemeka Ezeonyi last Sunday went for rededication service of his life to God as he turns 40- years-old, even as he charged Christians to invite God into all situations of their life.
Speaking on the theme: ‘Inviting Jesus Christ into all situations ‘, in a sermon Reverend Dr. Ezeonyi warned against inviting Jesus Christ only when there are problems and difficulties.
He noted that God’s grace is unlimited hence we look unto Jesus Christ to resolve all our problems with His unlimited capacity.
He reminded that our capacity as men are limited whereas God’s capacity in all ramifications is unlimited hence He is inviting us into His glory.
He pointed out that God’s love is inexhaustible and that as human beings we are what we are by His grace. He encouraged Christians to show they are children of God by their actions because Christ in us manifests by actions not claiming or words or words of mouth.
Reverend Dr. Ezeonyi advised that Christians should nit forget God when it’s tough neither when it’s good and appealed that Christians surrender their pains and disappointments to God in prayers.
He reminded that the Almighty God is not transactional in His mercies, blessings and grace even though one can challenge Him as if transactional.
He encouraged Christians to have compassion in helping others as a partnership with God, appealing that Christians transact with God divinely because He works in our weakness.
He concluded that God doesn’t judge Christians by their ignorance but by their efforts.
