Anambra Market Chairman Urges Traders To Pay Up 2023 IGR

The Chairman of Old Motor Spare Parts Mgbuka, Obosi in Idemili North Local Government Area, Anambra State, Mr Samuel Ifurunwa has urged the traders in the market to pay up their 2023 Internally Generated Revenue, IGR which is the supposed payment for every trader in the state.

The Chairman who said this through the acting PRO Mr Chinedu Nkwegwu shortly after the market prayer at the market stressed the need for the prompt payment of the money as it is one of the means through which IGR is generated

He lauded the state government for the rehabilitation work at Owerri road which is one of the access roads to the market and his judicious use of state fund.

He however frowned at the reckless dressing by some traders in the market and some those who also involve themselves in cultism and urge them to turn a new leaf.

According to him, in no distant time, anti tout team will storm the market with a view to arresting those involve in such illegalities, recalling that the state government has passed a law against cultism.

Earlier in his speech, the leader of the market prayer group Bro.Austin Agbo on his theme “Embrace Jesus now and you shall find rest unto your soul, he sighted Matt 11,27-30, Matt 5,17-20, saying that God is the hope we have in this life.

“I belief in God because of what I am seeing in dream, fornicating, eating in dreams, I don’t sleep, by then I was one of the assistant pastors but not born again until we went to crusade at Otukpo, it was there that I answered the altar call and was delivered, it was after the deliverance that I started sleeping like a baby and since then, I began to pick courage in the name “Jesus”.

He adviced traders not to be confused because some said that Jesus is scam, not to look unto those that carry Bible still rape women, embezzle their fellow traders money because Jesus has not being revealed to them.

Also adviced the apprentice traders to serve their masters with fear of God, saying that it is only God that settles one, that the masters settlement is minor compared to Gods.

“Be meek in your speeches, attitude, be humble which are the characters of Jesus, there are things to get from God than prayer, so that you shall find rest unto your soul.

” When you find that rest in God, the life will be easier for you, you cannot find light in your destiny if God is not in control”.he stated.
