Anambra : Court Sacks Igwe Daniel Udoji as Oraifite Mornach

The Anambra High Court sitting at Nnnewi has sacked HRH Igwe Daniel Udoji as the traditional ruler of Oraifite Community in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra state .

The court order was Signed by Hon Justice Dennis C. Maduechesi.

The Court order was presented to journalists during a press briefing with one of the stakeholders in the town, High Chief Stanley Okwudilichukwu Chukwujekwu.

The order dated 5th July ,2023 with suit number HN/216/2006.

The court order reads in part:
” An order of injunction is hereby made restraining the 1st defendant from parading himself as the Obi of Oraifite ,Igwe Oraifite or any other name / title whatsoever suggesting or implying that he is the traditional ruler of Oraifite in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra state .
” This order binds the 1st defendants agents and servants.

” The defendant are hereby ordered to jointly and severely to pay the sum of One million naira (#1m) to the plaintiffs as cost of this action.
