Anambra Assembly Speaker, Hon. Uche Okafor Felicitates With Obiano @ 65
The Speaker of the Anambra House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Uche Okafor says Governor Willie Obiano has done both Ndi Anambra and the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) proud through his unprecedented development driven programmes as well as the overall good governance
of the state.
In his goodwill message to the Governor as he marks his birthday, Right Honorable Okafor noted that Governor Obiano has used his professional training as a renowned Accountant in achieving prudent management of the state’s resources for the benefit of the citizenry.
The speaker who recounted Governor Obiano’s accomplishments in all sectors of the state economy, extolled him for being the first Governor in the state to take development to the hinterlands through his revolving twenty million naira Community Chose Your Projects Initiative which has entered the third stage.
He maintained that the state legislature has resolved to support Governor Obiano’s development efforts through the enactment of people oriented laws and resolutions and called on politicians in the state irrespective of their party affiliations to join hands with the governor in moving the state to greater heights.
Rt. Hon. Okafor while wishing the Governor more eventful years ahead, commended his wife, Dr. Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano for the complementary roles she is playing towards the good governance of the state and prayed God to continue to strengthen the governor for more accomplishments.
