Allen Onyema And The Temptation of Nigeria Politics, My Advice By Denis Uzim

I don’t know what actually played out in the US government versus the CEO of Air Peace, Allen Onyema saga?

The man is still standing tall with pride & his voice still booms like the ancient ikoro in the aviation industry. In fact as we speak, Allen Onyema is the most sought after figure in the aviation industry in Nigeria today. The western Nigeria dominated media seems unable to have enough of him on whatever concerns the aviation industry in the country today & our National Assembly too are all over the place seeking for his intervention & valued views on national issues especially as it concerns the aviation industry here & there.

So is it that all the globally publicized weighty fraud & money laundering allegation American agencies & it’s partner in crime, Canada circulated against this hard working business mogul & aviation czar are all cooked up stories & fables by witches in the midnight aimed at bringing down one of our own who carved a global nitch for himself through a dint of hardwork & adept business intelligence?

I thought by now Allen Onyema will be sitting on his fannies & rotting away in an America or Canadian jail but just like the Igbos always say, otu awu na ezhi.

It seems that for the first time ever Nigerian government rightly stood up for her own irrespective of the fact that Allen Onyema is an Igbo man, the unfavoured people in the Nigeria scheme of murky & tribally intense politics.

Whatever played out here, let me offer Mr Allen Onyema some valuable pieces of advice. Please Sir if you were above board in your business dealings for which you were vilified by the above world powers please continue in that noble part. Though I know no business man of global note is that squeaky clean. For example world notable figures like Ronaldo, Messi & even Donald Trump & other notable world figures have been accused & sometimes prosecuted by officials of state & even found culpable in some instances of tax fraud or rather evading the paying of appropriate taxes on their properties & business concerns in a lay man’s language, yet nobody is seeing them as criminals today.

A global business man today does whatever is in his business interest so far as it is not overtly illegal for which he can be sent to jail when caught. So Mr Allen Onyema always work in that overtly legal sense & the good Lord will continue to shield you from the snares, arrows & darts of hidden & revealed enemies through Christ our Lord, Amen.

And my most precious piece of advice to you Sir is not to join Nigerian politics. At least for now. Maybe it was the inkling & fears by your enemies that you maybe about to join politics that brought about the calamity that nearly undid you & your life long endeavours. Nigeria politics may need people like you but I don’t think the time for such adventure is ripe for now, for even the Holy Book says that there is a season & time for everything under the sun. Furthermore & more to the point why I harbour fears about you joining politics is because Nigeria politics kills good character most instantly.

Look at Barrister Obinna Uzor, PhD, a well to do business icon from Anambra state who figuratively speaking hewed water out of stone to make it big in the business world & where unbridled & uncouth & political ambition has landed him today. He has become a vagabond running away from the eagle eyes of security agencies world over because he wanted to go the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by all means.

Allen Onyema so far as you live well it is well with you Sir.
