The Lagos State West Senatorial Zone Leader of the ADC, People With Disability, PWD Wing, and National Coordinator of the ADC Atiku Youths Mobilization Movement, Hon. Chisom Ancestor Ezechinetugo, has warned Nigerians to be wary of fake voter registration websites being circulated by some political actors.

Speaking during a press briefing with selected journalists in his Lagos office on Monday, Ezechinetugo said some individuals are illegally harvesting voter data ahead of the elections through unofficial online portals.

“Following a series of deep investigations, I wish to warn all members of our party and Nigerians at large to be extremely careful with the online portal they use for voter card registration,” he said.

“We have uncovered that most of the unofficial websites currently in circulation are a strategy devised by some political actors to illegally harvest voter data ahead of the elections.”

He stressed that the only authentic and official portal for INEC Online Voter Registration is https://cvr.inecnigeria.org.

“This is the INEC Self-Service CVR Portal approved by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

Do not register on any other website, link, or WhatsApp portal claiming to be INEC. Such platforms are designed to compromise your data and votes, he warned.

Ezechinetugo also reminded Nigerians that INEC has extended the Continuous Voter Registration exercise to Friday, July 24, 2026
