‘Why I’m better placed to serve Ndi Anambra’ – Hon Azuka Okwuosa

A frontline All Progressives Congress, APC, aspirant for November 6 gubernatorial election, Hon. Azuka Okwuosa, has explained why he is the most suitable candidate to takeover mantle of leadership after the reign of Governor Willie Obiano of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA in Anambra state.

Hon Okwuosa who spoke during his tour to Ayamelum, Anambra West and Anambra East local government areas said that his political history places him high above other qualified aspirants in APC and other governorship candidates in other political parties.

Addressing the stakeholders which included local government and ward executives, Hon. Okwuosa said most of the aspirants campaigning to be governor has no political history and experience that will enable them surmount challenges of governance.

The business mogul also said that having a strong entrepreneurial experience is relevant for anybody that wishes to ascend the seat of the governor. He noted that many of the politicians and past leaders of the state had either no entrepreneurial experience to expertly manage the vast resources of the state or very poor political history to stem the challenges of governing a state.

www.odogwublog.com reports that Hon Okwuosa further said that inexperience had been the bane of most leaders and politicians in the state, adding that his experience as a local government administrator and the success he achieved as a former commissioner of Works and Transport in the past, was an impetus that spurred him to vie for the guber position.

He also said his political credential places him high above other candidates who either had no political history nor executive experience in their kitty.

According to him, “some of the past and present leaders we have are good entrepreneurs but lack entrepreneurial experience, while some have entrepreneurial experience with no political history.

Hon. Azuka Okwuosa said that Anambra state had not fared better in the outgoing leadership and assured that his administration will liberate the state, adding that the libration will be all encompassing that will touch round every community in Anambra state.

He however reminded the people the need to queue to his aspirations to salvage their future and provide a better tomorrow for the youths and upcoming generation.

He also vowed to rescue the Omambala region from dilapidated roads, promising to put to an end their plights of neglect by the successive governments of the state.

Responding, an APC stakeholder in Ayamelum, Hon. Barr. Emma Udegbunam prayed for the success of the aspirant in the upcoming primary election ,stating that the aspirant’s aspiration for the state is in line with that of the people of the Ayamelum community.

Additionally, Anambra East APC Chairman, Mr. Ignatius Oraekie, said that Okwuosa is a man of the people. He said the aspirant is well known within the APC party as a man who not only has the interest of the people but also the burden of the party at heart.

Another stakeholder, Hon. Chinedu Udalor Chinedu from Orom Etiti Anam, said “As a steady and core party man, I love Azuka Okwuosa. The people of Anambra west also love him. He is one of the serious contenders as far as Anambra governorship election is concerned. My community is looking forward to seeing him succeed.”

While he said posited that APC is the party to beat in the state, he urged the party hierarchy to look inward to see people like Okwuosa that will deliver the party mandate. He also said that gone are the days APC is views as a northern party, stating that the party had strategize to take over from APGA.

Also Speaking, the Deputy APC State Women leader, Lady Mrs Nkechi Nnoli advised them to vote according to their consciences and love for the progress of the state. She urged them to queue into the candidacy of the aspirant to secure future of the be generation. “This project is for all of us and I urge women to stand up and support the good plans of Okwuosa.”

Also, Former ABS Managing Director, Sir Oseloka Offor, said that Okwuosa is God’s answer to Ndi Anambra. He said that Anambra state had yearned for leader whose quality is never in doubt and who he said will deliver dividends of democracy to the people.

Earlier, the stakeholders promised to lend their full support to positive aspirations of the candidate and called on the aspirants in the party who may want to foment trouble after the primary election to have a rethink and ensure that enmity do not crypt into the party after the party primary as witnessed in 2017 election.
