WHO rules out epidemic after cruise ship hantavirus outbreak
The World Health Organization (WHO) has said a deadly hantavirus outbreak on a cruise ship in the Atlantic does not signal the start of an epidemic or pandemic.
WHO official Maria Van Kerkhove told reporters the situation “is not Covid” and stressed it is not the beginning of a wider global health crisis.
