We were deceived by Kanu to train 4000 IPOB/ESN militias – dismissed soldiers

Three dismissed soldiers identified as Linus Owalo, Godswill Steven and Chinasa Orji have described how they were lured with promises and money to train 4000 members of the armed wing of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) known as the Eastern Security Network, ESN.

According to Vangard news, these ex-soldiers who partook in the training of 4000 ESN were apprehended by the operatives of the Force Intelligence Response Team, IRT following Intelligence reports generated from some IPOB members that attacked the group’s hideout in Imo, Anambra, Delta and FCT, Abuja.

In their statement, the dismissed soldiers stated that they were promised by Nnamdi Kanu to be paid twice their salary as soldiers and that they would be sent overseas for military training to enhance their career, after training the IPOB militias.

He also promised, that they would become generals in the Biafra Army, when the Sovereign state of Biafra is realized. They decided to quit, when they discovered that Nnamdi Kanu tricked them.
