Ward 403 Campaign Council For Ichaka Ogbaru Inaugurated

… as members vow to deliver candidate

It was indeed a gathering of political  juggernauts as ward 403 campaign team for Ichaka Ogbaru was inaugurated at St. James Catholic Church Iyiowa Odekpe, Ogbaru LGA, Anambra State.

Ward 403 in Ogbaru comprises Iyiowa, Odekpe and Ohita, all in Ogbaru LG.

According to Chief Coordinator of Ichaka Ogbaru campaign Council, Hon. Udoka Chukwurah, the essence of inaugurating the campaign team was to enable them to move into action that would ensure that Hon. Emmanuel Uzonwanne would be delivered alongside Hon. Awogu and Osodieme.

Hon. Udoka regretted the late commencement of campaigning and attributed it to the recent flood incident in the entire Ogbaru land, charging them to ensure that APGA party is voted all the way during the election period. 

Inaugurating the campaign team, the ward 403 Chairman, Mr. Paul Nwaneri fondly Called St. Paul praised his members for their loyalties and spirit of oneness, reminding them that change in Ogbaru is a must.

He specifically testified the magnanimity nature of Ichaka, saying that Ichaka Ogbaru had single-handedly offered several appointments to so many people, contending that if he is elected to represent Ogbaru 2 constituency he would do better.

Commenting, Chief Collins Agukwe ” Onowu Igboland”  revealed that ward 403 has 44 polling boots and always clinche first positions in any election in Ogbaru LG.

“We are ready. We are not shaking. What I will assure Ichaka is that whoever we agreed to deliver, we must deliver the person. We have somebody like Ogwuego who even sacrifice his personal resources to ensure we deliver a candidate of our choice” 

Chief Agukwe noted that Ichaka Ogbaru is a trusted person who would usher in positive change in Ogbaru, pledging that they would deliver him during the election. He urged the ward members and campaign teams to commence house to house campaign.

Equally speaking, the political adviser to Hon. Emmanuel Uzonwanne, Mr. Sunday Obinze popularly known as Ogwuego implored ward members to apply their usual team work and deliver Ichaka.

He noted that leadership representation entails closeness to the people who are being represented. He said Ichaka is always available to the people and commended the cheerful disposition of Hon. Sir. Arinzechukwu Awogu when he was Transition Council Chairman of Ogbaru LG.

“I have never done things in common with Ichaka but having watched him closely, he is a replica of Hon. Awogu. I am appealing to political leaders in Ogbaru LG to always remember non indigenes, especially during appointments. As for Ichaka mandate, by God’s grace we will deliver him” Ogwuego posited !

In their separate speeches, Hon. Tochukwu Odukwe and Engineer Nnamdi Esmai as well testified that Hon. Emmanuel Uzonwanne has capacity to represent Ogbaru 2 constituency. They attested that Ichaka’s benevolent is unfathomable.

Appreciating ward 403, Hon. Emmanuel Uzonwanne said he was highly elated for the ward 403 to believe in him, apologizing to those he said might be harbouring grudges against him in one way or the other.

He said, “What prompted my quest to represent my constituency in the State House of Assembly is obvious. Ogbaru people have suffered enough in the hands of people they elected to represent them in government. It is a heart braking that somebody because of his personal interest pockets  money which belongs to the entire people that sent him to represent them.

“Recently, Ogbaru LG lost all they have as a result of flooding  menace. This is something  which those who are representing Ogbaru should diologue with government and the problem would be solved.

“Well, they have tried their best but they should pave way for others to try. We don’t want perpetual representation. What someone could not achieve other persons might achieve it” 

Hon. Uzonwanne reassured them of effective representation of youths as well as women inclusiveness, pointing out that he would embark on human capital development, empowering People in a special way, improves school system in Ogbaru, attract building of Roads, renovation of dilapidated schools and developmental amenities due for my constituency. I am ready to deliver, Ichaka declared.
