Valentine Ozigbo Congratulates Onowu Agulu As His Son Weds
Valentine Ozigbo, the immediate past President and Group CEO of Transcorp Plc, was one of the dignitaries who joined the marriage celebration between Amara Judith and Chinedu John Aniagboso.
The groom, Chinedu is the son of Chief Paulinus Aniagboso, who holds the traditional title of Onowu Agulu in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Speaking with journalists at the wedding reception held at Archbishop CJ Patterson Auditorium, All Saints Cathedral, Onitsha, on Saturday, February 27, 2021, Mr Ozigbo said he graced the event to share in the joy of his friend, Onowu Aniagboso.
He celebrated the couple for taking the decision to commit to each other, recalling how he made the same decision about nineteen years ago when he married his lovely wife, Mrs Ojiugo Ozigbo.
“Marriage is an institution sanctioned by the Almighty. I pray for the young couple and wish them well as they embark on this wonderful journey of a lifetime,” the respected business leader said.
“I also pray for their union to be fruitful with children. I also pray for their happiness, good health, long life and prosperity,” he added.
The well-attended society affair has several dignitaries in attendance, including Mr Peter Obi, the immediate past Governor of Anambra State; Professor Charles Esimone, the Vice Chancellor of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University; Chief Eric Okoye, the CEO of Juhel Nigeria Limited.
Mr Ozigbo, the frontrunner in Peoples Democratic Party’s gubernatorial race, was accompanied to the wedding by several members of his campaign organization including Rt. Hon. Eucharia Azodo, a former Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly and a two-time member of the Federal House of Representatives; Sir Tim Egboka, a former member of the Anambra State House of Assembly; Chief Ikechukwu Akaeze, a former Chairman of the PDP in Dunukofia Local Government Area.
Others are Sir Izuchukwu Oraelosi, the General Manager of the Valentine Chineto Ozigbo Foundation; Chief Damian Nwafor; Mrs Cordelia Ibah, VCO Woman Frontliner in Idemili South, Comrade Innocent Ugwo, the leaders of the VCO Youth Movement, and several others.
