Valentine Ozigbo Bags Tripple Honours At The National Peace Awards 2020

Valentine Ozigbo, the immediate past President and Group CEO of Transcorp Plc, has bagged a trio of honours at the 2020 edition of the National Peace Awards, where he was named, the Youth Friendly Personality of the Year, Hospitality Personality of the Year, and was named a national patron of the National Peace Awards.

The National Peace Award 2020, which held on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at the International Conference Centre (ICC), Abuja, is an initiative of Messengers of Peace Foundation. According to the organisers, the awards is “focused on rewarding outstanding individuals who have consistently shown excellence in their various spheres of influence”.

While receiving the award, Mr. Ozigbo said that he was thrilled at receiving the awards, adding that the recognition will act as an inspiration that will spur him to strive for excellence in all his endeavors.

He expressed appreciation to the convener, Dr. Adejo Suleiman, who has relentlessly championed the gospel of peace for an extended period.

Dignitaries present at the event include the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, who was represented by Mrs. Olushola Dada; the Governor of Osun State, Governor Gboyega Oyetola; the Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Matthew Kolawole, among others.

Ozigbo who is a respected business leader and philanthropist is a leading Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) aspirant in the upcoming 2021 gubernatorial election in Anambra State.
