Use your profession to fight injustice – Varsity don tells students

A Mass Communication lecturer at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Dr Odogwu Emeka Odogwu, has advised students of the department to use their profession to fight injustice in the society.
He gave the advice during his class with one hundred level students of the department.
Dr Odogwu had earlier sent five students out of his class in a manner that threw fellow students into confusion.
Disappointed by the silence and cold reaction of other students to the development, the lecturer expressed disappointment that nobody challenged the injustice meted out to their colleagues despite knowing that they did nothing wrong to deserve such ill treatment.
According to him, the event was staged to teach the students to always speak against injustice.
“You must not be afraid of anyone as the mouthpiece of the people. Write and speak against injustice. Your pen is powerful to change the society for good. Use it well” Odogwu advised.
