United Nigeria Airlines: Obi Congratulates Okonkwo, Offers Success Tips
Former Governor of Anambra State, Mr Peter Obi, has congratulated the Founder of United Nigeria Airlines, High Chief Dr Obiora Okonkwo, following the recent successful launch of operations by the airlines.
United Nigeria Airlines had, on February 12, 2021, made its inaugural flight from the domestic wing of Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos to Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu.
Speaking through his media office, Obi described Okonkwo as a good entrepreneur who, through the United Nigeria Airlines, will make positive contributions to Nigeria’s economy, by way of jobs creation, transportation services and other corporate social responsibilities.
Obi called on Okonkwo and the management of the airlines to always maintain good standard of service to the people, while prioritizing the safety of human lives in their operations.
He also urged the government and other well-meaning Nigerians to support various entrepreneurs who are investing into the economy.
He further called on Nigerians to pursue entrepreneurship, saying that a booming private sector in any nation, is an indication that the economy is doing well
