Umeononihu Demands Absolute Security As Best Christmas Gift For Anambra Residents

As count down to the Christmas celebration continues, an Obstetrician Gynae Oncologist,Nnamdi Azikiwe Teaching Hospital Nnewi Campus Associate Prof.Osita Umeononihu has urged Governor Chukwuma Soludo to redouble his security strategies to safeguard the lives and property of Anambra residents especially as the Christmas celebration draws nearer.
In a public press statement in Awka, Prof.Umeononihu raised concerns over the recent resurgence of some heinous crimes in some parts of the state which should be investigated and perpetrators arrested and made to face the music before it escalates.
According to the medical practitioner, the best Christmas gift the governor can give to the citizens of Anambra State during the yuletide season and beyond is undiluted impregnable security.
With adequate security the medical expert reckoned,all other indices of development will be fully appreciated by Anambra residents.
He used the forum to commend Governor Soludo for crafting the 2026 budget for the state which placed the health sector second in the priority list of his administration’s blueprint to move the state to greater heights.
Prof.Umeononihu urged the state government to do more to increase the allocation in the health sector for the increase in the life expectancy of Anambra citizens.
He further urged the citizenry to use the Christmas period to exercise love for one another and exchange gifts and other pleasantries for the good of all.
