Umahi’s Defection : PDP Suspends 3 Senators, 5 Lawmakers, Others
The People’s Democratic Party, PDP, has suspended three Senators and five House of Representatives members over Anti-Party activities, Odogwublog reports.
In a statement made available to Odogwublog by PDP Chairman, Barrister Onyekachi Nwebonyi said the three Senators are Senator Sam Egwu, Senator Michael Ama Nnachi, Senator Obinna Ogba.
The House of Representatives members suspended include, Hon. Chukwuma Nwanzunku, Hon. Sylvester Ogbaga, Hon. Livunus Makwe, Hon. Idu Igariwey, Hon. Victor Aleke, Hon. Chris Usulor and others.
The party further invited them to appear before its disciplinary Committee to defend themselves over the allegations on Friday, 20th November, 2020.
Odogwublog had reported that Umahi officially decamped to All Progressives Congress, APC and boasted that there will be no PDP again in the State.
