UCHE Nworah Launches book on Media and Security, as Hon Ibida eulogises Nworah

It was another wonderful ,remarkable and a memorable  day for Dr Uche Nworah  as he lunches another  book titled”Media practice and security challenges in south East  Nigeria.’

The lunching which took place at Awka  attracted people  from all walks of life .

The 114 pages of 5 chapters and xtra  pages was full loaded. 

According  to the 
Chairman of the occasion  Hon , Sir Pete Ibida  (Ide Nimo ):”Uche Norah is not a child of circumstance. He is a person I have continually  admired. We attended the same school. His position  is built over years .Today, he is an achiever. He is a voracious reader. He is very sociable. We all knew  him as dedicated and committed in writing .

‘I can remember in those  days during the debate, we were all in Nigerian Television Authority, Radio Nigeria having debates in all rounds. 

He never keeps quiet  ,he has  been talking and talking  ,No wonder Willie  Maduaburochukwu Obiano gave him Anambra  broadcasting  service to handle. Today he has raised the station to the Zenith. He has equaly won many media awards  from  different  groups including  West  Africa Media Awards.

Dr Uche  Nworah  ,can be enegmatic, he has no time, whereas any little  time he has, he will use it to X-ray a book. 

In less than two years this is now  second book,  I can challenge you  he is worthy to be crowned a professional  regalia.  I Stand to be challenged on his book.

I hope you  remember  where he is from and how religious he is to his religious studies.

However,  Dr,  UCHE Nworah  ,turned  around  the face of Enugwu Ukwu Igwes  cabinet, Igwe told me how he rates UCHE Nworah. 

This is a book  we are presenting and will be reading, that is the reason  I accepted  to be the Chairman. The best way to learn  is to read. I believe we are going to appreciate  him well.

Vice-Chancellor  of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University  Awka,  Prof Charles Okechukwu Esimone who was represented by Deputy Vice-Chancellor  Prof.  Joseph  Ikechebelu. thanked Dr Uche Nworah for choosing Namdi Azikiwe University as a venue to present his book to the public. He stated  that ” This represented town and gown. It is a book  you must go home with and this institution  is previleged to grace this occasion.

He further said that, ‘what is in this book  translates to project 200 which is  to make Nnamdi Azikiwe University  the best in Africa and 200 in the world by promoting research ,publishing and soon you will  see our results.

Governor  Willie Obiano  who was also  represented  by the Managing Director/Editor in Chief National Light Newspapers, Chief Chuka  Nnabuife  said ” That  it may interest you that this is the twelfth  books written  by those  working  directly with me. ( Gov.  Wille Obiano) 

3 from Anambra broadcasting service, 3 came from National Light, 1 came from press secretary, 1 Senior special assistant  and Kate Omenugha  has written recently.

They are all intellectual  books not praise singing  books. We can not count number of P. hD’s. What does  it tell you,  that Anambra  is a very conducive for  learning. Nworah  has giving us the insight.

He is bringing  the book when it is fresh and current.  

In his reaction  ,Nworah who was very happy  with the turn out, urged other people to  try and put something  down because  that will be what they will be remembered  with. 

He also used the opportunity  to call  on government  to fund  the media  houses. 

Some dignitires who attended  the book lunch included, Governor  Willie Obiano  represented by Sir Chuka Nnabuife ,Prof. Charles Okechukwu Esimone  who was represented  by Prof Joseph  Ikechebelu, Hon, Dr  Pete Ibida , Sir Fidelis  Anosike, Daily Times  Publisher, among others.
