Tinubu orders crisis unit for Nigerians amid South Africa tensions

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has directed Nigerian missions in South Africa to establish a crisis response unit for citizens amid rising anti-foreigner attacks.

Foreign Affairs Minister Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu described the violence as “Afriphobia,” warning that Nigerians were being targeted and harassed across parts of South Africa.
