What is the meaning of life? What is so salient about life? What have we garnered from life ?

No one can tell the actual definition of the meaning of life. To some, life is wicked, to some life is good, to some life is a puzzle, to some life is a concept we can never understand.

To some, life is all about happiness, building a family, and living life as it is, and to others , it is about accumulating wealth, whereas, for some, it is all about love…..positive or negative, it does not matter.

Many think about the meaning and purpose in life from a philosophical perspective, but the meaning of life is associated with better health, wellness, and perhaps longevity, suggests a new study.
The study of life found that the meaning of life is associated with better physical and mental well-being.

Dilip V. Jeste, MD, senior associate Dean for the Center of Healthy Aging and Distinguished Professor of Psychiatry and Neurosciences at UC San Diego School of Medicine said, “When you find more meaning in life, you become more contented, whereas if you don’t have a purpose in life and are searching for it unsuccessfully, you will feel much more stressed out.”

Life is based on two factors. They are; the conscious and the sub conscious mindset.
For you to achieve what ever you want you got to be balanced on both sides.
Everyone is in full control of the conscious mindset, it is the very easy to control, this is possible because conscious mind is responsible for rationalizing and logical thinking.
Meanwhile the subconscious mind is responsible for involuntary actions. Due to this , it’s not easily controlled.

Meriam Webster Dictionary describes life as the period during which something exists, lasts or is in progress.
It also defines life as the quality that distinguishes a vital and functional being from a dead body.

Life is full of both joy and sorrows, the ups and downs of life. Life is a never ending war which can be won at anytime. Life is a journey, we live, we lead our lives and transit to death.

Life includes existence and without existence life cannot happen. Existence is however sometimes challenging. There are many who do not have the fortune to get good education, whereas others were born with golden spoons. They get many things they desire just with a tap of the finger. While out there, are some who who do not have access to food and shelter, they struggle to make ends meet. They are guided by Herbert Spencer’s quote ” survival of the fittest”. To them, life is despicably harsh.

Since the beginning of time, we ask the question; what is life?
There is no right or wrong answer to that question. We have used logic and reasoning to explain why and how things happen. We wish to understand that question, we are constantly striving everyday to search for the purpose and meaning of things we do in our everyday lives.
I strongly believe that we need reasons and purposes to keep living, so our lives will not become “meaningless”.

Life is to find what is true to you, by using your own personal experiences and dreams.
All going on in the world, good or bad are meaningful to me and hopefully to everyone.
Having a purpose keeps me going. Waking up everyday and having something to look forward to. Everyone is born for a purpose and for you to know your purpose in life, you must first acknowledge that you are in this planet earth for a reason. You should evaluate yourself and find out your life purpose and then strive towards reaching the expectations.

I vividly remember having dreams of becoming a well known medical doctor. But alas, I never followed that pathway again. Instead, the more I advanced in age and maturity, I discovered that that field was not for me. That is life.

We rise by lifting others. We look more happy whenever we are able to put a smile on the face of a beautiful soul. Such is life!!!
