A man listed his assets abroad to the Code of Conduct Bureau before becoming a governor. The Bureau said they would investigate and eventually did. Till today, nobody has disputed any of his claims or things he listed.

This same man saved a $150m for his state even with his strides as the governor of that state. That would have amounted to $1bn today if allowed to breathe. Can any governor past or present beat his chest and make such a claim?

Now to the crux of the debate:
This man saved money in three banks , out of which he has shares in one.
Nobody is talking about the other two banks but the one he has shares in.
Do you know that it would have been sacrilegious if he hadn’t saved in that bank? If he does not trust a bank he has shares in, how would he convince anybody to invest in such a bank ?
He did not touch a penny of the principal nor the interest because everything belonged to the state and the state acknowledged that. Even Gov Otti who advised him on how he could share the money and save them in different banks is alive today and doing wonders too in his state as governor.
Just like he said, why didn’t other governors save their state’s money in their houses instead of looting and squandering them?

Obi outperformed his contemporaries in office while as governor in all spheres of governance, yet saved that much.

This country has been so cr*minalized that honesty is never appreciated anymore. The honest are the ones that suffer for their honesty. It’s all about let’s share it among ourselves and everybody to your tenth. More will come tomorrow for those around and incharge then to share.

Seun and his masters should show the world where and how a kobo belonging to Anambra state got missing under Peter Obi.
He has told you people that he was very rich before becoming a governor but the sl@ve mentality in some of you would not allow you to let it sink in your heads and appreciate that this man is among the most honest politicians that ever existed in this country.
The man most of you have ensl@ved your lives and destiny and even of your children to, couldn’t boast of a single infrastructure he put in place or Completed as a governor in 8 years.
His achievements are mostly bankrolling campaigns and elections of presidents for his personal gain and nobody has asked how he made such money. Institutionalizing thuggery to rig elections, intimidate his successors (even when most of them outperformed him ten times) to submission, just to have access to the state treasury. Keeping some serial looters permanently around him while the good ones serve and run away.
Seun , when are you bringing him to ask him the questions Nigerians want him to answer?
Better still, Professor on the field minister should represent him and answer those questions.

Let me put this on record. The only governor who saved about N7bn for his state was late Umar Yar’adua. May his soul rest in peace. No other governor has tried that.

Seun, go and tell your paymasters that you have done your best and they should take up from there.
If you drill your paymaster same way you have done to Obi, your studio and this country will implode.
