Affirmations are words that we consciously confess out loud to ourselves. Sometimes we believe it, other times we don’t.
Let me tell you a personal story in alignment with this subject of discussion.
When I first got admission into the university to study Mass Communication, I didn’t have money to foot most of the bills I needed to offset.
I needed to get my lodge but no money, I haven’t even paid my school fees yet. All the bills were staring at me like I didn’t have any intention of offsetting them.
Honestly, it was a horrible situation to be in. I cried, prayed and did everything I could do.
But,
There was something I kept doing without fully understanding it.
That was when I needed accommodation. I had zero naira to start with but I was hunting for lodges like my father was a Buhari.
As funny as it sounds, I had my preferences, I rejected lodges I didn’t like immediately and continued my search for another one, not minding the cost of the lodge.
One day, a friend of mine asked me “Favour how much do you have, so I’ll know which type of lodge to look for you.”
It’s a normal question to ask though but the only answer I kept giving him was this ” My budget is not the main thing, I just need to find the lodge I am okay with then, I’ll ask my heavenly Father to send the money.” Then I’ll add this “My heavenly Father already have all my bills budgeted, all I need to do is ask him when I need it”
He would just stare at me and say nothing. I kept saying this each time anyone asked me for my budget for accommodation and the rest of my bills.
One day my pastor called me and ask about my accommodation, I told him I’ve found the one I want but I’m waiting for my heavenly Father to send the money to pay for it.
Very funny though but that was it. My pastor took up the bills of N140, 000 and BOOM!! I got my lodge and spent absolutely nothing from my pocket.
Plus, he furnished it for me. It’s not a regular pastor’s duty but it was the means my heavenly Father used to send me the money he had budgeted for my Accommodation.
My school fees were another miracle but I’ll tell you about it another day.
CONCLUSION,
Build the world you want to see and experience with your words. Don’t just hear this thing repeatedly without implementing them.
Your words are spirit and they are life. They go wherever you send them. And please, believe the words you release.
I could write on but I believe these few words written would go a long way to affect your life positively.
