Do You Know The Coldest Place In Nigeria, Not Gembu in Taraba State, See The Coldest.

A lot of Places in the east and south get a drop in the temperature to about 13°C and you would here them saying there is cold, meanwhile,people who come from the cold part of the northern Nigeria will tend to feel hot because they have been used to their cold weather.

For sometimes now, I have heard a lot of Nigerians argue concerning which place is the coldest in the whole of Nigeria and this has really raised a lot of concerns because there is quite a lot of cold places in Nigeria,but certainly,on place must be colder than the other.

After some research which I have made and some questions which was asked,a lot of people said that the coldest place in the country is Gembu which is located in Taraba State,but I took my research further and it was confirmed that the coldest place in Nigeria is actually Jos, Plateau State.

Most people assume that when they see a temperature drop of about 13°C,the are having a cold weather, but they are really much warmer overall, because this has given Jos the opportunity to be indisputable when it comes to being the coldest place in Nigeria’s temperature map.

It was revealed by some researchers that the main reason why the city is so cold is actually because of the JET STREAMS which is known as fastly moving air which moves at the upper level of the city’s atmosphere,and also,the northeast trade wind which is mostly referred to as harmattan which is joined by the high altitude of Jos and made them undisputably the coldest place is Nigeria with their temperature as low as 6.7°C.

You might find it hard to believe when I tell you that most people in Jos City do find it hard to go out during the December/January harmattan because of how cold the city is and also,it is a normal experience in the city when ice blocks comes out of pipe borne waters instead of the normal water that comes out because the cold has freezes everything and also,when you wake up during this period and go out,you might meet your car covered with dew or even while walking with a friend to work,you might hardly see them because everywhere seems to be filled with snow.
