On Friday, November 1st, 2024, at Dunamis Glory Sanctuary in Amawbia, Awka South, Anambra State, De Heritage Ministers, a gospel musical crew led by Chetachukwu Ilione, also known as Praise Trigger, hosted the 6th edition of their annual musical concert, SWAP. The 2024 edition, aptly named SWAP 6, marked its sixth year of existence.
SWAP, an acronym for “Sound Worship And Praise,” once again drew gospel music ministers and enthusiasts from various Christian denominations within and outside Anambra State, Nigeria.

The event featured powerful praise and worship sessions led by various gospel artists, sermons, prayers, and the presentation of awards. Among the ministers who graced the event were Min. Ekene David, known for his hit song “My Tomorrow Must Be Greater Than Today,” Min. Jessica Chinweudo, and Winner Bliss, among others.

The atmosphere was filled with shouts of praise, jubilations, and dances, creating a unique sensation as gospel artists rendered their soul-lifting and spirit-filled songs. The event truly embodied the saying, “in the presence of God there is fullness of joy.”

In his sermon, Pastor Sam Obiora emphasized that worship requires sacrifice and authenticity. He urged worshipers to avoid being those who worship with their lips but return to their old ways, noting that true worship is devoid of personal interest.

Min. Chetachukwu Ilione (Praise Trigger), the director of De Heritage Ministers, expressed his appreciation by awarding members of the group who have significantly contributed to the growth of DHM.

Since its inception, Sound Worship and Praise (SWAP) has provided a platform for Christian worshipers and fans to reaffirm and strengthen their faith in God, as the Bible states: “Iron sharpens iron.”
