Mr Ignatius Opara, the Committee Chairman of the 2023 Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) Week, in Enugu, has promised a robust activity for the programme, scheduled for October.

Opara said this at the inauguration of the seven-man committee for the SWAN week held at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu on Wednesday.

He thanked the SWAN executives for finding them worthy for the job and called for commitment from his colleagues.

“Things are hard these days, but I believe in the ability of my members. I know we are going to deliver.

“We are going to come up with a programme that will be realisable and be well assured that we are not going to let this house down,” Opara said.
