Suspected Drunk Driver Plows into Soldiers in Lagos, Leaving Several Feared Dead

Several soldiers attached to the Myoung Barracks in the Morocco area of Shomolu, Lagos, are feared dead, while others sustained injuries after a suspected drunk driver crashed into them. The tragic incident, which occurred in the early hours of Friday during morning physical training, has caused panic within the military community. A soldier who witnessed the accident described the scene, saying, “There’s blood everywhere. I was spared because I was at the back.” According to the eyewitness (name withheld), the vehicle carried three young men believed to be internet fraudsters, commonly referred to as Yahoo Boys. The car reportedly plowed into the soldiers near the Myoung Barracks Army Sports Camp. Following the crash, one of the occupants fled, while the remaining two were apprehended and severely beaten by onlookers, who also vandalized their vehicle.
